Busy busy

Now I know The Science Informant has been somewhat quiet lately, but admittedly writing up my first year report for my PhD (and going on holiday) kinda took over! But I haven’t been completely un-creative!

Check out two news features I wrote for Cosmos Magazine over the summer (yes I think it’s official, the summer is over…):
Human gut tells brain to overeat fatty foods

Cold electron sources allow nanoscale imaging

I have participated in the exciting new project that is Guru Magazine: an digital magazine which aims to bring about the perfect mix of science and lifestyle! My first contribution Do-It-Yourself Molecular Gastronomy is on the website and you can also download the magazine version which looks pretty cool!
